Monday Message of Hope 45
There are times when we get into situations that look as if there is nothing again to be done, there are moments when things do not work out any more, sometimes we blame these on circumstances surrounding us, sometimes we try to think that someone is behind all those situations. These might be true, but let us always know that only God has the final say in our lives. If God has destined you for something, it must surely come to pass.
The truth is that challenges, difficulties and oppositions from people and situations are true and sometimes happen, sometimes it looks as if they are having victory over you, but that does not mean they are omnipotent. You may have been struggling for years but that does not mean also that your life has been put to the peg, it does not mean that God has kept quiet too. God might still be using them to lead you to the place of your destiny, just as God used Joseph’s brothers. People may be against you, circumstances may be hitting you at the face now, but it does not mean your life has ended already.
Anything we go through life can never and will never stop what God has put in our path. They do not have the final say because they are not our creator, they are not the one who put us on a life journey, they are not the one on the throne. The Jews and the Pharisees thought that crucifying Jesus and burying him in the tomb will stop God’s purpose, but yet today, Christianity has spread like fire. Whatever God says, shall be done, what the enemies and oppositions can do is to manipulate and fight. What difficulties can do is to challenge and try you, but always know that only one person has the final word; God. When God is for you, no one can be against you (Romans 8:31).
In Daniel 3, when Nebuchadnezzar put Shedrach, Mishach and Abednego into the fire, he thought all power belongs to Him, he thought he is the one to determine what to happen and not to happen,he thought he is the one who has the final say, he thought he is the one in control, that all power belongs to Him. This was actually what the Jews thought when they were flogging and cajoling Jesus, imagine those smiles in their faces, but at the end, God took all glory. When Herod wanted to destroy everything to make sure that he ended the life of Jesus, he thought he had won the victory,he thought he could do all things, but once God has not determined, it shall never come to pass.
Oppositions can come, situations might become extremely so difficult, problems may arise, but keep your head calm, knowing quite well that you are more than a conqueror. Nebuchadnezzar thought he was dealing with ordinary people, he never knew he was dealing with sons of grace, the children of the most High God. Herod and the Jews never knew they were dealing with an extraordinary being. Joseph’s brothers thought His destiny has ended by putting him up for slavery, but they never knew they were dealing with a child of destiny.
There is a truth about you that makes you unstoppable, you are a beloved child of God, you are a child of destiny, you have a mission to fulfill, you are not in this world for nothing, God sent you here for a purpose, we become a prey, when we have lost sight of this and run away from Him. Go back to God, He is your Father. Your Father is the almighty, that means all power belongs to Him and not to anyone. You are not a child of difficulties, challenges did not create you. They will always come but always know that God is your creator and nothing can happen without his permission.
Whenever you are given a work or function, do it with all your heart, you may have oppositions and those who may not understand you, but do not be worried, never stop letting your light shine because of whatever you are facing right now, when the time for your promotion comes, not even the forces of darkness can stop you. No one has the final say in your life, only God does that. Stop living your life frustrated and distressed, always know there is victory at the end for the children of God. Jesus says today, do not let your hearts be troubled, in the world you may have trouble, but be courageous and strong. I have conquered the world. When you are so worried about these situations, you are invariably saying they can stop you, you are invariably saying they are the one on the throne, you are invariably giving them the power to determine what happens and what does not happen to you. Put all your hope in God. Be happy , be prayerful, be cheerful. There is always light at the end of the tunnel.
May God bless you dearest and give you the grace to overcome your challenges Amen.
