This, according to Him, is greatness. It is not wrong to be ambitious or to desire greatness, but it must be channeled positively for the common good. What lies underneath my ambition? What are my real motives? Am I driven by human glory, prestige and attention, or selfless and total service?
Lord Jesus, teach me to humbly and truly serve others in the duties entrusted to me. Rid me of useless desire for power, pride, position, fame, wealth, honour, and recognition. May my greatness be seen in the services I render to those who are in need and not in the number of people who serve and protect me. Amen!

Am resolved to Be a Point of Light.
