Morning Prayer for the Sunday 17th Week Ordinary Time of the Year B

ads

Dear Lord,

As we gather here in your presence today, we are inspired by the story of the feeding of the five thousand. We are reminded of your abundant love and compassion towards us, your children.

Just as you provided for the multitude with only five barley loaves and two fish, we come before you with our small offerings and ask for your blessing. We thank you for the gifts you have bestowed upon us and for the opportunities you have given us to serve others.

Lord, help us to trust in your provision, even when faced with seemingly insurmountable challenges. Strengthen our faith and guide us in our efforts to make a positive difference in the lives of those around us.

As we partake in this morning prayer, may we be reminded of the importance of gratitude and stewardship. Teach us to be mindful of the resources you have given us and to use them wisely for the betterment of others.

We ask for your grace and wisdom as we seek to follow in the footsteps of Jesus, who selflessly gave of himself to meet the needs of others. May his example inspire us to be instruments of your love and peace in the world.

Thank you, Lord, for your unfailing love and for the miracles you continue to work in our lives. We place our trust in you and surrender all our worries and cares into your capable hands.

In Jesus’ name, we pray.

Amen.
