The Eight Keys to True Happiness

In today’s readings, we are reminded that true happiness is not found in possessions, power, or worldly success, but in a deep and sincere relationship with God.

Through the story of the sage and the teaching of the Beatitudes, Jesus reveals that real joy often lies in the simple, spiritual virtues we overlook—humility, mercy, purity of heart, peace, perseverance in suffering, and total dependence on God.

The Sermon on the Mount corrects the world’s idea of happiness and shows that blessedness flows from living according to God’s will, even in pain, rejection, or persecution.

True happiness comes to those who are peaceful with God and their neighbour. True happiness comes from God especially if we relate with Him wholeheardtedly, keep His words and relate with our fellow human beings. This is the summary of the beatitudes.

May God bless you dearest and help us to seek the things that are above to be worthy of His Kingdom Amen. May He protect You.
