In preparation for our nine days novena for the souls in purgatory which begins on the evening of November 1st, and the commemoration of the faithful departed on November 2nd, the universal Church enjoins all Christians to pray and offer masses for our relatives, friends, beloved ones, brothers and sisters who are departed.
This is the time to show them, how much we truly love and care for their souls. I encourage every person to join in praying for them.
Therefore, We as a family have always followed the Church’s celebrations and call for prayers.
Therefore, we enjoin every member of this family to pray and offer masses for our beloved ones who are departed. Our prayers and masses can help them. Take this as an obligation no matter what.
We shall remember them on the 2nd of November and also during the nine days Novena.
May their souls and the Souls of the Faithful Departed, through the mercy of God, may they rest in peace. Amen.
Instructions
1. Please make sure you are ready to pray for them.
2. You are allowed to send not more than five names. Do not fill the email with lots of names.
3. The church encourages offering masses for the dead. No matter how small try and offer the mass.
4. Remember to pray for our Home of Victory members who have now departed.
