Step-by-step guide on how to book international flights ( Recording and Text)

How to book an international flight
🚀 STEP 1: Go to [Trip.com](https://www.trip.com)
You can use a browser on your phone or computer.
Make sure you are on the official Trip.com website or use their mobile app.
STEP 2: Select “Flights” from the main menu
On the homepage, click or tap on “Flights” (usually found on the top bar or main screen).
-A. One-Way Booking with Qatar Airways
Example: Manila (MNL) to London (LHR) – One Way
1. Select “One Way” at the top of the flight search box.
2. Enter:
From: Manila (MNL)
To: London (LHR)
Date: e.g., August 20, 2025
3. Choose number of passengers and class (Economy, Business, etc.).
4. Click “Search”
5. Wait for results to load.
6. Use the filter on the left side to select any airline you want, for example Qatar Airways as the airline.
7. Review flight options:
Qatar usually routes via Doha (DOH)
8. Click “Book” next to the preferred flight.
9. Enter traveler details (name, passport, DOB, etc.)
10. Select extras (baggage, insurance, meals if applicable).
11. Proceed to payment: credit card, PayPal, etc.
12. Receive confirmation via email.
🔁 B. Round-Trip Booking
Example: Manila (MNL) ⇄ London (LHR) – Round Trip
1. Select “Round Trip” on the flight search box.
2. Enter:
From: Manila (MNL)
To: London (LHR)
Departure Date: August 20, 2025

Return Date: September 10, 2025.
3. Choose passengers and class.
4. Click “Search”
5. When the results appear:
Use the filter on the left side to select any airline you want, for example Qatar Airways as the airline..
6. Select both outbound and return flights (Trip.com will prompt you to choose both).
7. Click “Book”
8. Fill in passenger details and proceed as in the one-way process.
-C. Multi-City Booking
Example:
Flight 1: Manila (MNL) → London (LHR)
Flight 2: London (LHR) → Paris (CDG)
Flight 3: Paris (CDG) → Manila (MNL)
1. On the Flights page, click on “Multi-city”
2. Enter multiple segments:
1st Segment:
* From: Manila (MNL)
* To: London (LHR)
* Date: August 20, 2025
2nd Segment:
* From: London (LHR)
* To: Paris (CDG)
* Date: August 25, 2025
3rd Segment:
* From: Paris (CDG)
* To: Manila (MNL)
* Date: September 5, 2025
3. Click “Search”
4. Use the filter on the left side to select any airline you want, for example Qatar Airways as the airline.
5. Trip.com will show combination flights (even with other partner airlines if needed).
6. Review the full itinerary and click “Book”
7. Enter passenger and payment info as usual.
🧾 After Booking
You will receive an email confirmation and e-ticket.
You can also check your booking status under “My Bookings” if you create a Trip.com account.
Always double-check visa requirement for each destination.
