Morning Prayer for Sunday 16th Week Ordinary Time of The Year B

Dear Heavenly Father,

As we gather before you in this sacred hour, we reflect on the passage from the Gospel. We are reminded of the deep love and compassion that Jesus had for the people. Despite his longing for solitude, He set aside his own needs and devoted himself to teaching and guiding those who sought Him.

In our own lives, Father, we often find ourselves pulled in multiple directions. We become consumed by the demands of our work, our responsibilities, and the endless to-do lists that seem to never end. We are overwhelmed by the pressures of this fast-paced world, leaving us physically and emotionally drained.

Yet, in the midst of this chaos, you call us to find moments of solace and rest. Help us, Lord, to follow the example of Jesus and prioritize time for ourselves. Grant us the wisdom to recognize when we need to step away from the noise and busyness of life.

In these moments of retreat, we seek your presence and guidance, O Lord. Quiet our hearts and minds, allowing us to tune into your still, small voice. Speak to us, dear Father, reminding us of our inherent worth and the unconditional love you have for us.

As we find solace in your embrace, replenish our spirits and renew our strength. Grant us the grace to surrender our worries and fears, trusting that you are with us in every challenge we face. Help us to remember that our well-being is not defined by our productivity, but by our connection to you and to one another. Be With Us today. Be Our Shepherd always. Never abandon us.

May we find rest in your loving arms. We ask for your continued guidance and blessings as we face the joys and struggles of this day. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
