Breakfast With the Word Monday 11th Week Ordinary Time of the Year Shorter Version

 

The reflection on Matthew 5:38–43 teaches that Jesus calls His followers to overcome evil with goodness rather than revenge. While the natural response to hurt or injustice is retaliation, Jesus challenges believers to respond with love, forgiveness, and generosity—even toward enemies.
