The disciples gained wisdom because they stayed close to Jesus, listened to His teachings, and obeyed His words. Their closeness to Him gave them the grace and power to carry out their mission successfully.
This Gospel reminds us that human knowledge alone is not enough; our understanding of God is a gift that comes through a deep relationship with Jesus. We must humble ourselves, spend time with Him, listen to His word, and put it into practice.
