In today’s gospel (Mark 3:31–35), Jesus teaches that true membership in His family is not based on blood ties but on doing the will of God. His words do not reject His mother or natural family; rather, they honour obedience to God, which Mary perfectly lived.

Jesus shows that belonging to His family means staying close to Him, listening attentively to His word, and choosing God’s will over personal gain or display.
True worship goes beyond appearances and public show; it is a sincere relationship expressed through love, prayer, truthfulness, forgiveness, service to others, and responsible use of our gifts.
Doing God’s will brings unity, peace, and authentic communion with Him in both our private and public lives.
