Breakfast with the Word Wednesday Week 1 in Ordinary Time of the Year Shorter Version
Mark 1:29–39
God is always at work, even when we do not see or understand what He is doing. His work goes beyond what our physical eyes can perceive, and His silence does not mean His absence.

In moments of difficulty, weakness, or doubt, we may feel that God is far away or tired of us, but He never gives up on His children.
Jesus Himself tells us that the Father is always at work, and so is He, tirelessly saving, healing, forgiving, and drawing us closer to God.
Even our challenges can be moments God uses to shape, teach, and strengthen us. Since God never gives up on us, giving up on Him should never be an option.
May God bless us dearest, and give us the strength to hold on to Him despite whatever we go through. Amen.
