Matthew 7:21–29

When We Do His Will

Doing God’s will means choosing His Word above our personal desires and letting it guide our decisions, even when it is difficult. It is not enough to pray, prophesy, or call Jesus “Lord”; what truly matters is obedience and living out His teachings.

Jesus warns that many who appear religious or active in ministry may still be rejected if their lives do not reflect His Word. Faith without action is empty.

He compares two builders: the wise one builds on rock by obeying God’s Word and stands firm during life’s storms, while the foolish one hears but does not obey and falls when trials come.

True discipleship is shown through consistent obedience, forgiveness, faith, and holiness. God is pleased not by words alone but by a life that reflects His will.

In the end, those who do God’s will are the ones who truly belong to Him and remain strong through every challenge
